| Abstract: | An iteration method for calculating approximate value of the Internal Revenue Ratio (IRR) in an engineering item is given by using a calculation method for solving real root for any function equation about IRR.The convergence region for IRR is found.The number of times for iteration is fewer and the calculating precision is higher when IRR is larger than 10%.Using the method,the IRR with any precision in an engineering item can be calculated by the programmable calculator. |
