Numerical Simulation of EDM Gap Flow Field

Abstract:Conductive or send-conductive powder added into dielectric fluid can obviously lower the roughness of workpiece. With a mathematical ed developed to show the movement of dielectric fluid and powder particles in the gap flow field and a numerical algorithm proposed for the model, the distribution of powder particle conentration in the gap flow field is simulated with different jets for EDM.
