Development and Application of Large High Temperature Concentrated Sulfuric Acid Submerged Pump and Molten Sulfur Pump

With the increasing single train production capacity for the sulfur-burning sulfuric acid plant over the last ten years,the recovery and utilization of low temperature heat from the dry absorption section,as well as the requirements for equipment to be made in China,the design standards,technical features and selection of material of construction for the high temperature concentrated sulfuric acid submerged pump for transfer of recycled acid in the dry absorption section,and the molten sulfur pump in the melting section is described.And it is proved through actual operation that they satisfy the needs for long and stable operation.
