The coming of global economy and knowledge-based economy and the change of consumer predilection lead huge and continuous change of the manufacturer environment. The dynamic environment leads to the less time of competitive advantage and the huger risk of manufacturers. A manufacturing alliance is an efficient strategy for the challenge of dynamic environment. Manufacturing alliance is defined based on the correlative theories of ATM and symbiosis: the characters of manufacturing alliance are discussed, and the difficulties to implement manufacturing alliance and corresponding countermeasures are brought forward.
