| Abstract: | A theoretical study of the behaviour of capillary-compensated fourrecess plane hydrostatic thrust bearings under conditions of tilt and rotation was made. The influence of radius ratios on the load and flow characteristics and a comparison with continuous-recess bearings are reported. |
