Abstract: | Scheffe's test for contrasts is frequently used when a relatively small set of contrasts is of interest. When these contrasts have been planned prior to the data analysis, the Bonferroni t statistic provides a reasonable alternative. Comparisons are made of critical values for the 2 tests.
