A Protocol interoperability testing method and its assistant tool for TCP/IP implementation are introduced in this paper. Based on Ethernet environment, this testing tool which is specific to Minis, Workstations and PCs can be used for the purpose of interoperability testing of TCP/IP implementations and its result analysis. The system structure and its methodology, as well as its application to TCP/IP software in Sun OS are given. |
