Multimedia Demonstration System for Safety Monitoring of Three Gorges Project

The purpose of developing a multimedia demonstration system for the safety monitoring of Three Gorges Project(TGP) is to cooperate the routine work of safety monitoring of the project,to report to the higher authorities and to conduct propaganda to the visitors.In the paper,the author explains the design thinking and the method for accomplishing a multimedia demonstration system,introduces the procedures and essentials during creating and implementing the system,and especially extending the function of multimedia compilation tool by high level language. The system has been put into application and attained a satisfactory result.
