Abstract:The effects of iron tailing sand,pumice and fly ash ceramsite on the compressive strength,splitting tensile strength,elastic modulus and dry apparent density of lightweight aggregate concrete were studied,and the mix proportion was optimized by using Design-Expert software.The results show that the mechanical properties and dry apparent density of lightweight aggregate concrete increase with the increase of the relative content of fly ash ceramsite.With the increase of pumice relative content,the mechanical properties and dry apparent density of lightweight aggregate concrete decrease.With the increase of sand ratio,the dry apparent density of lightweight aggregate concrete increases,and the mechanical properties of lightweight aggregate concrete reach the best when the sand ratio is 40%.The optimization results of Design-Expert software show that when the mass ratio of fly ash ceramsite to pumice is 3.13 and the sand ratio is 36%,the lightweight aggregate concrete with excellent mechanical properties and low dry apparent density can be prepared.
