| Abstract: | The imaging characteristics of an exponential-type GRIN fiber is studied by the method of "equivalent parabolic-type". This method is easier to be used to calculate the Gaussian parameters than the exact anlytical method, with results of higher precision and wider applicability than those by the equivalent-cone method. |
