Abstract:As designing the high pressure accumulators, the wall of single tube according to the condition of high pressure is so thick that there is no method to wind with a steel plate and check for flaw detection without damage These difficulties have been solved well after making the design of combined tubes The Gaedoling's condition is introduced and the formula calculating the diameter of accumulators is derived The stress of single tube and combined tubes under same conditions have been analysed Comparison with the real accumulators indicates that the external diameter is reduced about 15 cm and the weight about 20% if the internal diameter is identical under same condition Therefore, this method is useful for designing and making of the accumulators.
