ZrO_2—20wt%Al_2O_3陶瓷复合材料显微结构的TEM研究

摘    要:用透射电镜研究了(ZrO2+xmol%Y2O3)-20wt%Al2O3陶瓷复合材料的显微结构,发现在Y2O3含量为2.0mol%~2.5mol%成分下,较大的(可达1μm)未转变颗粒仅限于嵌在Al2O3晶内的ZrO2(t),当Y2O3含量为3.0mol%时不嵌在Al2O3晶内的ZrO2(t)颗粒(可达1.3μm)也可保持四方相结构。因此3.0mol%Y2O3成分下四方相的急增及其最佳相交增韧效果归因于基体弹性模量的增加和适量稳定剂(Y2O3)加入的共同作用结果。

Abstract:The microstructure of (ZrO2 + xmol%Y2O3)-20wt % Al2O3 ceramic compsites has been studied by the TEM.It is found that for the specimens containing 2.0mol%  ̄2.5mol %Y2O3, the larger untransfpormed particles(up to 1.0μm) are limited to only ZrO2(t)embedded within Al2O3 grains.For the specimens containing 3.0mol%Y2O3,however, the still larger ZrO2(t)particles(up to 1.3μm) unembedded within Al2O3 are still retained in their tetragonal state.Because of this the steep rise of the tetragonal Phase at 3.0mol %Y2O3 content and the optimum transformation toughening effect of (ZrO2+3.0mol%Y2O3)- 20 wt % Al2O3 ceramics obtained may be attrbuted to the increase in elastic modulus of the matrix and the addition of an appropriate stabilizing agent (Y2O3).
