The paper analyzes some misunderstanding on the planning and construction of the traffic system of small towns,explores the basic concepts of the small towns and their traffic system and the connotation of the coordinative development of traffic system,on the basis of this,analyzes some main problems in the development of the small towns in China from the aspect of the coordinative development of the traffic system,so as to realize the development aims.
