| Abstract: | The fundamental priciples of third-harmonic flux modulation in ferromagnetic materials are further analysed theoretically. According to the specific characteristics of the magnetic path structure for induction motors, the rules of the effects of third-harmonic flux modulation on core losses of motors are explored, and proved by experimental investigation. |
