Crystal structure and magnetic properties of ZnV2O4 |

| Abstract: | We present structural and magnetic data on ZnV2O4 single crystals. Single crystal X-ray diffraction shows the measured crystals to be of very high quality, especially with respect to atomic order. The measured magnetic susceptibility resembles to that of a spin glass system, surprising for a translational invariant structure. The results are discussed in the framework of disorder in a magnetically frustrated lattice. |
