摘    要:基于数控五轴刀具运动分析,提出了旋转插补的概念,给出了旋转插补的相关定义,在此基础上提出了隐曲线的线性和旋转插补原理和方法,并进一步提出了改进的插补方法。

Abstract:This paper presented an approach for linear and angular feedrate interpolations for implicitly represented paths for multi-axis CNC machining.Tool path was identified by a position curve assumed to be an implicit curve and a tool orientation curve based on the position curve.The angular feedrate interpolations calculated the tool positions and orientations at each sampling cycle based on specified angular feedrates for given tool paths.The paper will relate analytically geometric properties of such prescribed path to rigid body motions along the path by feedrates and feed acceleration.The results are then used to develop the linear and angular feedrate interpolation.An improved interpolation scheme is further present to augment the initial interpolation.
