| Abstract: | 4-acetoxystyrene is an intermediate in the preparation of Poly(4-hydroxystyrene) used for the production of photoresists. In this paper, the methods of synthesizing 4-acetoxystyrene mainly from 4-hydroxyacetophenone?4-hydroxybenzaldehyde?4-ethylphenol and its derivates was reviewed. |
