On the plane strain in a generalized theory of thermoelasticity

This paper is concerned with the plane strain in the linear theory of generalized thermoelasticity, proposed by Green and Lindsay[1]. Using the associated matrices method[2], a representation of Galerkin type, is given. This representation is used to derive the solution of the vibration problem corresponding to concentrated body forces and concentrated heat source in an infinite medium.
