Discussion on Damage Effect on Surrounding Rock Mass in Tunneling Blasting

The problems of blasting vibration and surrounding mass damage near the blasting point should be settled necessarily in the tunneling blasting of underground engineering. On the basis of synthesizing the existing literatures, some problems such as the action zones of blasting vibration, the calculating of particle vibration speed and its safety criterion in linear charge, the measuring methods and controlling criterion of rock damage by blasting are discussed.
