| 摘 要： | 从无锡市经济发展和城市建设的实际出发，根据国内外开发区建设的经验，本文论述了无锡市开发区的发展方向与功能定位：以高新技术产业为主体，开放性经济为龙头，良好的基础设施为依托，较高的生活质量和优化的生态环境为保证，建设成为无锡经济新的增长区、高新技术的密集区、改革开放的示范区、现代化的新城区。
