| 摘 要： | 本文提出了一种可在超低比特率情况下使用的高效帧内图象压缩算法,该算法不同于DCT编码方法,也不同于小波编码方法,而是结合了离散余弦变换（DCT）和小波零树编码算法两者的优点,理论和实验表明,在超低比特率图象通信应用领域,该算法图象压缩效率高,图象恢复效果好。此外,在PC机上用软件实时实现该算法也不复杂。

| Abstract: | This paper presents an efficient image compression algorithm that combines the advantages of DCT and wavelet transform.The theoretical and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve higher compression efficiency than DCT and the W transform based method in very low bit rate communication.Moreover,it is not complicated to realize the proposed algorithm in a real time way on a PC. |
