Abstract:
For reactor fitted with coils commonly used in industry,the innuence of major factors on the gas-liquid dispersion has been investigated for 0.467 m and 0.784 m diameter vessels.Bymeasuring the gas hold-up a and bubble diameter d_(32) over a wider range of experimental conditions,the following results are obtained. When characterized by the dissipation of mechanical energy,aincreases with the decrease of liquid depth,and propeller number has little influence on a. Effect ofoperation condition on d_(32) is weak strong.The typical regression results of a and d_(32) are as follows
