基于灰度化及边缘检测算法的车牌识别技术研究

摘    要:日益增长的车辆数量给车辆的管理带来前所未有的压力,车辆的智能化、信息化管理问题也愈来愈突出,车牌识别便是解决车辆智能化管理的有效技术手段之一。介绍车牌识别技术体系的整套解决方案,采用MatLab进行程序仿真,运用权值加重法和均值法对所提取车牌进行灰度化预处理,通过局部差分算法实现车牌图像的边缘检测识别。仿真结果表明该技术方案具有较好的可行性。

Research on License Plate Recognition Technology Based on Gray and Edge Detection Algorithm

Abstract:The increasing number of vehicles has brought hitherto unknown pressure to the vehicle management, the vehicle's intelligence and in-formation management issues and more and more prominent, vehicle license plate recognition solution is effective technology for intelli-gent management of one of the means. The whole solution of license plate recognition technology, uses MatLab simulation program, the use of weight increase method and the average method for the extraction of the license plate image preprocessing, and then through the local difference algorithm of license plate image edge detection. The simulation results show that the scheme has good feasibility.
