Caculation and Analysis of Roller Arrangement for Slab Caster

The roller arrangement is the core base for a slab caster design. The calculation procedure and method for a slab caster based on continous bending and straightening were disscused, including the calculation of the outer curve forming, the selection of the roller diameter, the coordinate of the inner and outer rollers, the gap of the inner rollers and the exchange gap of the adjacent segments, and so on. By the comparison between our calculating data and those come from a certain foreign supplier, it can be concluded that the calculation method supplied in this study is correct and reliable.
