Glass reinforced plastic pipes enjoy the advantages of light weight,excellent pressure bearing capacity and corrosion resistance,less scaling,simple operation and long service life.Jianghan Oil Field had widely applied high-pressure glass reinforced plastic pipes into water flooding system and sewage disposal system,reaping favorable results.However,exterior damages,misconduct in operational performance and fiber property differentials may cause leakage from time to time.To address this problem,a package of measures such as cutting into cones,connecting with steel crossover sub and backfilling can be adopted to regulate craftsmanship as well as safeguard quality and safety in production.
