Statistical Analysis of the Development Status of National Building Industry in 2011

According to the research report newly completed by the Department of Planning, Finance and Foreign Affairs of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction and China Construction Industry Association, our country’s construction industry made a good beginning for "the twelfth five-year plan" in 2011, with the construction scale continuously expanded and the position of pillar industry increasingly enhanced; the enterprises’ operation benefits were good, and the profit ratio of production increased. However, some obvious problems still existed, the foreign contracted business grew slower and the development encountered big challenge; the regional difference of labor productivity was obvious; the total output of the railway engineering enterprises decreased sharply; the growth speed of the general contract enterprises of special qualification became slower, the structural adjustment and mode transferring still have a long way to go.
