Abstract: | ![]() This second part of a three part paper sets out how to evaluate collector thermal constants and the accuracy of these constants from test data. The correlating expression allows up to eight constants to be evaluated, which has been found sufficient to characterize glazed and unglazed flat-plate, evacuated tubular and concentrating collectors. A method of comparing tests carried out with different heat transfer fluids is also presented. |
