小浪底水利枢纽是治理开发黄河的关键性控制工程，已于１９９７年１０月截流，２０００年１月９日首台机组并网发电，工程建设管理按照国际招标工程的管理模式进行。几年来，通过业主、监理、设计、承包商四方共同努力，为中国的国际工程建设管理积累了很多好的经验，为国内其他工程的建设提供了宝贵的借鉴。
