基于HMMs的人体姿态图像视觉理解研究

摘    要:利用隐马尔可夫模型(HMMs) ,对CCD摄像机采集的人体运动视频图像中的人体姿态识别问题进行了研究,主要内容包括选择新的特征向量抽取算法;设计HMM训练和识别算 法。实验结果表明,该方法在实践中是可行的。在虚拟现实、视觉监控、感知接口等领域均有着广阔的应用前景。

Abstract:This strong interest is driven by a wide spectrum of promising app lications in many areas such as virtual reality, smart surveillance, percep tual user interface, content-based image storage and retrieval, athletic performance analysis, etc. Bymaking use of hidden Markov models (HMMs) , the recognition of human motion image is studied. This includes selecting new method of extracting eigenvector and designing algorithms of HMM training and recognizing.Experimental results show that thismethod is practicable for the human activities analysis.
