| Abstract: | This thesis, by means of the statistical approaches, offers statistical data of the back number of the periodicals duplicated by the readers from July 1993 to July 1995 in the library of Northwest Institute of Light Industry, and is the light of the ageing law and scientific research approach of the periodicals, determines the service life and preserving time limit of both the Chinese and professional periodicals, thus provides reliable basis for guiding the rejection and optimization of the collection of books in the library. |
