Development of Powder Coated Carbon Fibers Preparing Carbon/Carbon Composites

This article introduces the main usages and the preparation methods of carbon/carbon composites at home and abroad. Through the comparison, powder coated carbon fibers preparing carbon/carbon composites is an ideal method which has lower cost and short preparation cycle. It includs selection of the matrix resin and the carbon fiber, the surface treatment of carbon fiber and the spreading of the carbon fiber thread. The process adopts laminate molding to preparing samples, and finally prepares carbon/carbon composites through carbonizing and graphitizing the sample at high temperature.
