| Abstract: | This paper illustrates the concept of non-communi-cation transient based protection and its superiority, and introduces the present research status of distance protection and boundary protection for non-communication transient based protection, especially analyzes the application characteristics of the newest digital signal processing techniques such as wavelet transform and mathematical morphology in non-communication transient based protection. Finally this paper looks up research contents and difficulties of non-communication transient based protection. |
