| Abstract: | Helmet mounted display (HMD) is one of the most important tools in virtual reality.This paper presents a simple,low cost design of a helmet mounted color stereo display system developed resently in our center.The hardware consists of the optical system and the head tracking system. The principles and design methods of the two parts are described. |
