Abstract:SizeofnanostructuredFegrainismuchsmallerthanthatofordinaryones,whichcauseshigherhardness,higherstrengthandbetterwearresisitance.Thereforenanostructured-Feflim,growinguponthesurfaceofordinaryFe,canbeusedaswearresisitantlayer.Nevertheless,nano-Feisveryhighinitsactivityforthereasonofitsnumerousboundaries.Accordingtothetraditionaltheoriesofcorrosion,grainboundariesareactivezones,whichcausesthatnano-Feiseasiertocorrosionthanordinaryones.AftertreatmentwithAluminiumdiffusioninnano-Fefilm,reducingactivityofgrainboudaries,raisingwearresistanceofnano-Fefilmwasprovedbypractice.Theperformanceisequivalenttopremiumsteelplatesofhighstrengthandwearresistance,butwithhighcost.SIMS(secondaryionmassspectrometry)wasusedfordepthprofilingofthermaldiffusionofAlinnano-Fefilminthisexperiment.ThedepthofAluminiumdiffusioninnano-Fefilmismuchdeeperthannormal-Fe.
