| Abstract: | The distribution of flexibility of the vaive gear in several diesels are analysed.The effect of the construction parameters on the natural frequency of the valve gear are calculated by means of multi-mass model.The effect of cam profile, valve clearance and valve spring force on the running smoothness of the valve gear are also studied. |
