摘 要: | 利用MTS801材料测试系统,旋转盘式杆杆型冲击抖动拉伸试验装置和弹道冲击侵彻测试装置,分别对Twaron纤维材料的应变率效应,Twaron织物树脂层压复合材料靶板的准静态和弹道冲击侵彻进行了测试研究,提出了基于准静态侵彻测试结果的预测Twaron织物树脂层压复合材料靶板剩余速度的简单能量模型。

INVESTIGATION ON RESIDUAL VELOCITIES OF LAMINATED COMPOSITE TARGETS SUBJECTED TO BALLISTIC IMPACT |

Abstract: | The strain rate effects of Twaron fiber material, quasi static and ballistic impact penetration of laminated composite targets made of Twaron fabric and phenolic resin are investigated by means of MTS (material esting system), split Hopkinson tension bars and ballistic impact apparatus. The tensile impact experiments on Twaron fiber material are performed at strain rate 0.01/s, 180/s, 480/s and 1000/s. Experimental results show that the mechanical properties of Twaron fiber material are little rate dependent. A simple model to predicted residual velocity of laminated composite targets subjected to ballistic impact is proposed on the basis of experimental data of quasi static penetration through the targets. The predicted residual velocities show good agreement with the experimental residual velocity. |
