| Abstract: | Process to prepare fumaric acid from maleic acid by isomerization in the presence of self - made catalysts was developed. Effects of amount of catalyst, reaction temperature and reaction time on isomerization were examined. The yield and purity of product was 74.4% and 99.9% respectively. |
