| Abstract: | The progress of development on the high strength hot work die steel in China in previous two decade has been systematically reviewed. It is suggested that developing new steel grade, increasing steelmaking and forged quality of steel, improving heat treatment process and their organic combination are the key factors to increase service life of die. |
