Abstract: | Conclusions The most rapid abrasion in dinas refractories occurs in the 700–900°C range; periclase 800–1000°C; mullite-corundum articles exhibit a smooth increase in abrasion with rise in temperature. The abrasion of refractory concretes is much higher than for bricks. It is possible by determining the abrasion resistance to carry out quality control of the firing process, and also to check the quality of linings made from concretes.Translated from Ogneupory, No. 1, pp. 13–14, January, 1991. |
