Abstract:This paper gives the general expatiation of the development of the low frequency vibration of shafts in the large power system from the purpose and significance of the study, the present condition of domestic and international research, and technique characteristics and levels, and so on. It makes a summary of the research results of the vibration of shafts attained by formers, and discusses the direction of development in the future, and pointes out the current problems and the development trend of shafts the study on low frequency vibration of shafts in dynamical analysis, test technique and control technique.
