Analysis of the Development of U.S. Military Satellite Communication Equipments

Based on the development status of satellite communication equipment of USA, the guidelines, key technologies and directions of development of USA military satellite communication equipment are analyzed. The development surrounds network centered warfare while focusing on tactical application, IP technology, laser communication technology and communication on the move are all relatively key technology. The developmental direction includes standardization, smart system, software implement, high compatibility, combination radio frequency with laser communication and light and small equipments. The research on that will provides an important reference to design, development and deployment our military satellite communication equipment.
