| Abstract: | The melting of magnesium alloy has many characteristics and it is directly related to melt and the quality of ingot.Combining the research development of magnesium alloy casting in recent years, the magnesium alloy melting technology was introduced.At the meantime the main methods to improve and enhance the quality of magnesium alloy ingot by grain refinement were also discussed. |
