Abstract: | ![]() A series of phases is proposed for the supervisory session. The goals of this model are to reduce negative emotions in the supervisee, to teach the supervisee to form and test hypotheses about the client's behaviors, and to teach the supervisee specific behavioral techniques. This model is also advanced in hopes of stimulating research on the little studied process of psychotherapy supervision. (16 ref) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved) |
