Abstract: | Selected adaptive sampling control laws are compared with periodic sampling for five different inputs. It is shown that 1) aperiodic sampling is not always more efficient than periodic sampling, and 2) if the input and statistics of the input disturbance are not known a priori, then the best sampling efficiency is obtained using periodic sampling. |
