摘    要:本文将合成孔径雷达(SAR)成象系统视为一个多元接入信息系统,利用信息论分析系统信息的传递,系统平均互信息不仅可以用于度量从雷达图象上提取点目标的信息量,而且还可以用于定义雷达图象的辐射分辨率,在深入分析系统构成的条件下,求出从回波信号的独立取样到输出图象信号间的传递概率密度函数,进而求出系统平均互信息解析表达式,得到一系列结论,研究结果定量地解释和说明了许多已有的结论,并为进一步深入研究打下了基

Abstract:The synthetic aperture radar(SAR) imaging system is portrayed as a multiple access information system and an information theory approach is applied to the SAR imaging system.The information content about a point target that can be extracted from its radar images is evaluated by the average mutual information and the average mutual intormation is also used to define a measure of radiometric resolution for radar images.A translative probability density function of the SAR imaging system is derived by analysing the system and a closed form of the information content is found.Some conclusions are obtained.The results presented provide a theoretical interpretion and an explanation for some well-known results in the field of SAR.
