| Abstract: | There are many differences between English and Chinese, which produce negative transfer to Chinese students in the process of learning English. This paper discloses the differences between the two languages from three aspects - vocabulary, syntax and discourse (text), and analyzes the influence on English writing. Finally some suggestions on how to eliminate the negative transfer are given. |
