| Abstract: | This paper reviews the developments of muffler research, and discusses some methods of muffler design. As the hotspots about muffler research, the active noise control and the relationship of air flow velocity, temperature and acoustic transmission are presented. In the end, a research method of muffler is proposed based on the use of theoretical analysis and experiment. |
