Abstract:An experimental appartus was improved for determining very low vapor pressures by uising the Knudsen weighing effusion methed. The reliability of the apparatus was checked by measuring the low vapor pressures of n hexadecane and l octadecene. Vapor pressures of 5 substances including dinonyl phthalate, o dibutyl phthalate, dibutyl sebacate, dioctyl sebacate and Cd Hg were determined at temperatures from 298K to 373K and correlated by the Antoine equation.
