摘    要:本文研究Kerr型介质界面上弱非线性TM表面波的性质。数值计算表明了沿线性与非线性介质界面传播的TM表面波的自散焦特性。

Abstract:The properties of the weakly nonlinear TM surface wave at the interface of the Kerr-like medium and a linear medium are investigated in the present work. The analytical formulas of the dispersion equations and field profiles with clear physical insight are presented by using the approach of inverse problem analysis and extending Seaton' approximate conditions. Furthermore, the numerical calculations significantly indicate the self-defocusing characteristic of TM surface wave propagating along the interface between a nonlinear Kerr- like material and linear cladding metal medium.
