| Abstract: | As a phenomenon of language,rhetoric is not only a symbol of words but also a way of expressions and comprehension.All of these are the results of the evolution of the history.The application of rhetoric is related to the rich humanism implication. From the rhetoric angle, the paper talks about the primitive significance,the cultural significance,the social significance as well as the esthetic significance of "the food is what matters to the people" |
